Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe has this morning conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation to 84 young boys and girls at St. Andrew Kaggwa Parish in Lilongwe, which is his maiden confirmation Mass since his consecration. The newly confirmed are those who failed to receive the sacrament in September 2023 as they were in school at that time.
In his homily Right Rev. Vincent Mwakhwa has encouraged the newly confirmed Christians to be prayerful, to give alms to the needy, live a life of reading the Bible and being industrious at all cost in order to avoid attacks from the devil.
Monsignor Patrick Thawale is the incumbent Parish Priest for Kaggwa and encouraged the young ones to remain staunch Christians and Catholics even at school when they return.
